Of what separates monsters from men is a matter of the mind; the rationale and acknowledgment of fundamentals essential to daily existence without savagery.
And yet...
It is ever evident that this truth is obscured.
Mankind wages brutal war against itself in the physical, mental and spiritual sense.
Heinous crimes take place, but countless eyes turn blind unto them. No quarter, no mercy given; no thoughts spared.
And yet...
The same thing mankind fears instinctually finds itself in order all it's own.
With this, the real question is...
Can you see it?
Argent Fatalis rendered in a very sterile environment with bright fluorescent lighting and well polished tile flooring, by the phenomenal Jocarra. Another demanding commission, the multiple characters and contrasting environment, along with a hazy, unnatural feel, provided a lot of work to be done, but just as before, Jocarra proved successful with her characteristic talents and unique mode of application.
Thus this is the last commission of 2012 for Argent's story; I hope you all have enjoyed it thus far, and I look forward to including future pieces in 2013, which will be on display in my gallery for your viewing and reading enjoyment.
Argent, because of his intelligence alone, is not part of any classified Smilodon species. His scale is, for reference, roughly twenty to twenty-five percent larger than Smilodon populator.
a very impressive piece of art this one is.
