There are those of us born predators, and those of us born prey.

But when speaking of man, both niches are reality.

Argent Fatalis stalks an unseen target within the tall grass of an alpine plain, using natural camouflage and tact to take his choice prey by surprise. Perhaps earlier the great sapient beast was enjoying the Spring sun and soft breeze, or maybe he has been in pursuit of the quarry since before dawn. Whatever the case may be, Argent finds himself in striking range, and prepared to leap without the target ever aware of his presence.

This commission was produced by a skillful and most efficient artist known as "TheTigress" (on FurAffinity), for an exceptionally reasonable sum, along with a quick turn around. I highly advocate seeking her out if you're in the market for a commission; I certainly will purchase more from her in the future myself.

Is he hunting?
I like the picture, because Argent Fatalis looks very well. I also like the background, even the earth because it is so detailed.

That he is hunting a prey creature off scene.

Thank you for the compliment, Finsterdrache, the Tigress (who produced this piece) does have quite the talent for felines and environments alike.

I saw this earlier - I particularly like how she did his face and paws :3

The paws turned out quite lifelike, even for a colored sketch, and the facial construction is lovely. Its funny, this inadvertently looks similar to Wide Awake and Operational.
